INTRODUCTION TO INTERNATIONAL TRADE: What is export marketing and how can we do export marketing ?
Marketing refers to activities a company undertakes to promote the buying or selling of a product or service. Marketing includes advertising, selling, and delivering, packaging products to consumers or other businesses. Marketing is carried out by setting short, medium and long term goals within a plan.
There are 2 types of marketing. One of it; B2C marketing, which is made for companies to sell their products and services to the end user, and the other is; B2B marketing for products and services that companies will provide to companies. Export marketing is a B2B marketing activity. Export is the sale of products and services from one country to another. The basis of international trade is also based on B2B marketing for the above reasons.
When making a marketing plan, after determining the target market, target customer and communication methods of the product to be exported, the action plans defined as direct and indirect marketing methods are implemented.
